Our Purpose
LES PANORAMISTES brings together photographers, researchers, and citizens from various fields to study and document the evolution of rural and urban landscapes. Through photographic projects, exhibitions, and collaborations with local authorities, the association raises public awareness of environmental and heritage issues while promoting artistic creation related to the landscape. We operate at the intersection of art and science, creating a visual record that speaks to both the intellect and the emotion.

Our multidisciplinary approach combines the technical rigor of scientific observation with the evocative beauty of fine-art photography. We believe that by actively engaging local communities and collectives in participatory citizen science projects, we can foster a deeper understanding of our shared environments. This collaborative effort not only preserves the visual history of our changing world but also empowers individuals to become stewards of their own local heritage, recognizing the profound impact of human activity on the land.
As we look to the future, our commitment remains steadfast: to continue building a comprehensive, modern archive of landscape evolution. By valuing artistic creation and contributing to the preservation of local heritage, we aim to inspire a collective responsibility towards the environments we inhabit. Every photograph we take, every exhibition we host, is a step towards a more conscious and connected society, ensuring that the landscapes of today are remembered and understood by the generations of tomorrow.
